Florida Health Information Exchange (HIE) Services
Encounter Notification Service (ENS)
ENS provides subscribers with timely notifications about their patients’ health care encounters. ENS receives admit, discharge, or transfer notifications from over 300 hospitals and other health care facilities in Florida matching the information to patient lists provided by subscribers. When one of the listed patients receives care at a participating health care facility, subscribers receive an alert containing details about that patient’s hospital encounter.
